Mission Statement: “To help
spiritual seekers and disciples become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.”
Our mission is the help spiritual seekers and disciples discover, apply, and
reproduce in others the biblical truths that we are: formed for God’s family;
created to become like Christ; called to serve one another; called to reach the
lost; and designed for God’s pleasure on the journey to becoming fully devoted
followers of Jesus Christ.

Our Purposes
FELLOWSHIP
There is no such thing as a lone-ranger Christian. The first purpose we share
with others is that we are formed for God’s family. We are
happier when we help each other and keep each other accountable. We are
designed to need others in deep and meaningful relationships.
DISCIPLESHIP
For a Christ-follower there is a
constant need to grow in our relationship with God. The second purpose we share
with others is that we are created to become like Christ. Jesus
is our example and we are to become like Him. How He treated and cared for
people – how He carried out His life.
MINISTRY
God gives each one of us gifts and
talents to serve Him in this world. The third purpose we share with others is
that God makes His people passionate to serve one another. We
first try out our gifts by serving one another within the church and we cal this
“ministry.” God wants us to be a family that cares for one another. In fact,
He says that together we are like one body – and each one needs the other
equally.
EVANGELISM
God doesn’t want our passions to just
be for serving others within the church He also wants us to serve people who
have yet to understand or grasp His love. The fourth purpose we share with
others is that God makes His people passionate to reach new people for
Jesus Christ. We must care deeply about all of the people everywhere
who do not have a personal relationship with God because He cares deeply for
them.
WORSHIP
Most of us think that the word Worship
has to do with an hour of time at a church somewhere. This isn’t true. In
fact, God talks a lot about worship in the Bible and it means much more than
just an hour of time. The fifth purpose we share with others is that God says
our whole lives are designed for God’s pleasure, and that our
whole lives are worship. Everything we do, say, think, act, etc. God created
us to live lives which honor Him in every moment, and that is worship.

Our
Strategies
We plan
to help spiritual seekers and disciples become fully devoted followers of Jesus
Christ through…
Ministry Opportunities for the
whole Family (Fellowship)
We want to be an encouragement to the
whole family through children and youth ministries that promote the truth of the
Gospel at the earliest possible age; and through providing opportunities for
parents to enable them to be the principle discipler/teacher of faith in the
home.
Caring and Committed Small
Groups (Discipleship)
We want to help provide networks of
lasting friendships through life-developing small groups that meet regularly in
homes for Bible Study, prayer, encouragement, fellowship and outreach. A major
part of this ministry involves recruiting, training and support of Group
Leaders.
Life Development Classes
(Discipleship)
We will provide classes that will
explore the basics of Christianity, marriage, church membership and baptism,
parenting, growth habits, finances, spiritual gifts, and other topics vital to
Christian life development. These are considered supplements to personal
devotional life, small-group Bible Study, and involvement in Worship and the
teaching ministry of the church and pastor(s).
Service through H.E.A.R.T.
(Discipleship, Ministry, Evangelism)
Out of the desires of our heart we
live. According to the Apostle Paul’s description of the church as a body,
every member has an important role to play. We experience fulfillment in our
walk with God as we discover the passions of our H.E.A.R.T. Heart,
Experience, Abilities, Relationship, and Training for
ministry. We will assist people in discovering a ministry area best suited to
God’s work in their lives.
Including new people in
relationships and service (Evangelism)
We will strive to model Jesus’
lifestyle of building authentic friendships with people who don’t know Him. We
want the community to know that we exist to serve them and help them in their
search for God.
Worship & Praise (Worship)
At the heart of God is that His People
would express their love for Him. We will provide regular opportunities to
express our devotion to the Lord through Worship Services and Special Worship
Events as well every believer daily living out a life of worship.
