More than Church as Usual
Mercy Hill is not a church for perfect people or a church for people looking for a religious performance. Mercy Hill is a church for real and broken people who are looking for genuine hope. Jesus was the picture of “mercy,” showing God’s love is not restricted to a certain group, perfect people, or those from the right background, but “God so loved the world” (John 3:16).
A Heart to Make a Difference
The Bible tells how God’s promises to change the world came to fulfillment in  Jesus. We are optimistic for what our church will accomplish as we see ourselves as being on a mission with and for God. Making a difference in the world is the heart of true faith for “religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction” (James 1:27).
Friends who Actually Care
Community is the idea of “family.” Jesus built a close group of followers giving them a new commandment – “just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” (John 13:34). Jesus’ maintained love for others is the distinguishing mark of true Christianity. The Bible describes how God takes people from every race, social background, economic level, and unites them as a family.
