Mercy on Mission to Make Christ Known 

Mercy Hill Church was founded in 2017. From the beginning, our heart has been to demonstrate and multiply the mercy of Jesus Christ. We are imperfect people who gladly welcome other imperfect people find hope in Jesus. 

The primary ways we do that together are through Sunday School (Sunday 9am for all ages), Life Groups (in-home groups that meet during the week), and our Sunday worship gathering at 10 am.

Our mission for the Jackson/Cape area is this: Mercy on mission to make Christ known. We want everyone to experience the mercy of Jesus Christ.  

What is mercy?

Mercy is showing compassion to someone in need. It is the kind of grace where no strings are attached. Our motivation is the Lord Jesus himself. 1 John 4:19 says, "We love because He first loved us."

God's grace is for every person. He saves us by the work of Jesus for us (justification) but then he shapes and changes us over time by His Word and His Spirit (sanctification). This is how we describe this discipleship path at Mercy Hll: know mercy, grow in mercy, and show mercy.
