Proverbs 17:22

A merry heart does good like medicine.

Upcoming Events:

  • Farewell Breakfast (Sunday, December 22nd):
Announcement! Our church will have an appreciation brunch for Pastor Rick and Julie on Sunday, Dec.22 during the Sunday school hour. We decided that since this is such a busy time of the year, and many families may have plans following church, this would be the best time for us to gather together, say good-bye, and show Rick and Julie know how much we love and appreciate them.
We will cancel Sunday school classes so that the teachers and kids can participate. This will also free up
space for people to sit and visit. Please bring a breakfast or snack item to share with others. The
church will provide the drinks, and a basket to collect cards if this is something you wish to do.

  • Christmas Eve Service (December 24th):   We will be having a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Tuesday, December 24th at 6 PM. Please invite your family, neighbors, and friends for this special celebration of Jesus Christ!

  • Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (Starting Nov. 24th) Please prayerfully consider donating to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering this season. Since 1845, the IMB has partnered with churches to send missionaries to live and work among those around the world with little to no access to the gospel. This special offering has helped 3,678 missionaries (updated in October) reach 847 unreached people groups so far. You can donate on Sunday or donate online at – use the dropbox and select “Lottie Moon Christmas Offering”

  • Shelby Kate and Campus Outreach:

Shelby Kate McCord recently shared about her new job opportunity working for Campus Outreach. She shared how we as a church and individually can help support her both prayerfully and financially. Her current need is $3,300 in monthly support. If 33 people were willing to give $100/month then her goal would be reached! Pray and consider if God would lead you to this amount or another according to your financial ability!

Here is her video, link for prayer updates, as well as her giving link.

  • Newsletter Update:

It has come to our attention that a vast majority of you are no longer receiving the weekly newsletter. We have tried changing the scheduled time, re-subscribing members, and countless other solutions to rectify this situation, but nothing seems to help. So, with this being said, we have chosen to phase out the weekly newsletters and post them directly to our website at . Not only does this change make it easier on us, but it makes it easier for visitors, new members, and absent members to view current and missed updates. This also decreases the risk of any important updates ending up in Spam or Junk folders.

This change will go into full effect the first week of January, 2020. Until then, we will continue to send out the newsletter via email, but we highly encourage you to begin viewing them through the link above.
Newsletters will still be published on Fridays, and update requests will still be due Thursdays at 12 pm.

Lastly, if you know of someone who does not receive the weekly emails, we would greatly appreciate it if you forwarded this email to them.

We apologize for the inconveniences and appreciate your patience during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at
